About Christina
CHRISTINA VANZELLA, LCSW, PMH-C
OWNER/OPERATOR
Hi there! I’m Christina, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapist and founder of Renewed You Therapy. I’m so happy you’re here!
With over a decade of experience in private practice and specialized training in perinatal mental health, I provide evidenced-based therapy for adults in TN, NJ, VA and DC navigating anxiety, life transitions, motherhood, trauma and other mental health concerns.
Like many others, I too have experienced pain and difficulties at times throughout my life journey, and that’s part of the reason why I feel passionate about helping others through theirs. I understand that reaching out for help takes courage. Whether you are experiencing overwhelming stress, anxiety, depression, or just looking to gain personal insight, my aim is to provide a safe, empathetic space for you to feel heard, understood, and supported. My style is warm, relaxed, and welcoming and I strive to provide a comfortable environment for every individual I work with.
My certification in perinatal mental health has given me the experience working with women through the challenges related to pregnancy, infertility, and the postpartum period. I have experience helping both young adults and adults through anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions and other mental health challenges. I also have a soft spot for working with military spouses, as I am one myself, and can understand the unique challenges they may face with relocation, separations from loved ones, employment changes, etc.
When I’m not in the therapy space, you can find me spending quality time with my family and friends, gardening and antique and vintage shopping. I also enjoy reading books; I love a good psychological thriller or historical fiction novel.
About Chris
CHRIS PARK, LCSW
My name is Chris Park, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in East Tennessee. At Renewed You Therapy, I provide virtual psychotherapy to clients located in TN, VA, and TX. I approach therapy from a strengths-based perspective. I believe trust is the most essential part of therapy and the client should have the loudest voice in the course of treatment. I work alongside my clients to examine and explore the ways that systems in their lives (such as family, work, school, etc.) interact and influence them and explore roles that each system may play in their concerns.
I have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years. I have experience with children and adolescents, families, addiction, and maternal mental health. Much of my experience has been in the community mental health realm working with children and youth who are at risk of out-of-home placements and their families. My primary experience has been in trauma work using foundations of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I have a particular passion for working with women, adolescents, and the LGBTQ+ community.
If you’re ready to begin your healing journey please feel free to reach out. We offer complimentary 15 minute phone call consultations to those interested. We look forward to hearing from you!
“You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.”

How We Can Help
Individual
Therapy
Individual therapy may be helpful for those who are seeking one-on-one support with navigating whatever challenges they are facing. Individual therapy can also be helpful for individuals interested in deepening their relationship with themselves and developing insights for understanding their behavior.
These virtual sessions are being offered through a secure video platform.
Walk & Talk
Therapy
Walk and Talk therapy combines individual therapy with the healing power of nature and movement. We can meet at a nearby park or trail and have the therapy session while walking at a pace that is comfortable to you. Wearing comfortable shoes and clothing is recommended and there is always an option to shift your session to a virtual session if the weather does not allow for an outdoor meeting.
